As a club we have decided to
Follow the strict AFL Centralvic protocols on game day that officials are the only ones allowed on the ground.

Each QHJFC teams Time keeper, Team Manager and Covid officer will NOT be able to get around the huddle, this will be for the health safety of our players to keep numbers down.
Around the huddle, O N L Y coaches and runner (medic only if required) may attend the huddle breaks unfortunately NO PARENTS at the huddle breaks.

Main Points as per recommendation from AFL centralvic for game day.

Arrive, Play, Go home. No Spectators on the ground, officials and players only. No Water Carriers needed. Please bring your own water bottle Appropriate signage. Wipe down regularly used areas (time keepers table, equipment). Recommend NO use of canteens, change rooms and social rooms. Minimise spectators where possible (stay in cars where appropriate), both teams work together with spectators (if needed). Our committee has arranged to meet cleaners this (today) Wednesday at training to show them what we need cleaned before and after each game in the toilet areas.
Our Club will be paying for the cleaners thru out the 10 week season when required.

Please also continue educating your child about social distancing, sanitizing and general health and safety issues.
If you and your child are not feeling well please notify the club and let us know and stay home please do NOT attend any games or training during the week.
It has been a great effort from all involved to get the season started with the guidance from the AFL, AFLcentralVic, the BJFL and more importantly our QHJFC parent volunteers to
co-ordinate and get the season started.
It is all about keeping our families and players safe during this abnormal and unusual season.

Let’s get the kids out there to have some fun and keep them safe over the weekend and as parents, carers, and supporters we are there to lead and show the kids an example of how to adhere and abide by the rules.

Any Q’s see me or call me anytime
